Hubby did a quilt back a year and a half ago.... haven't posted it  so now I am going to do it.
This string quilt was built in 30 days and measures 90" by 90"  and was hard to quilt on the long arm as there are so many seams.He did a great job.

Busy time of the year.   Lots of quilting to finish and then we have a friend to help move, and shopping to do.  Spring is here and I want the garden to look nice so time is precious.
Visits from children and grandchildren  are great but often too far apart.  Working on some quilts that are rather challenging but that is what it needs to be so one can grow as an artist.

Well, have forgotten about the blog til someone wanted to see some of the quilting I have done....Have lots to add and want to share it with you.  Just came back from Zanesville, Ohio where I took a class in maintenance on my Gammill and boy did I learn a lot.
The machine is running great now...no thread breakage and just purrs.  Teaching someone else to use the machine reminds me of all the things that I have learned and I love to share.

Purse Class

Tomorrow is a new day, having a class of 6 with an instructor in my basement studio.
We are going to make "Origami" purses and each one will be unique and different.
The studio has been cleaned and is ready, now to do the baking for tomorrow as we need something for break time and also something for dessert at lunch time.
Honey bran muffins sounds great and so do blueberry muffins and maybe a oatmeal cake for lunch. Everyone is brown bagging it and I will have whatever my hubby
decides and then the rest of the week I am working at the new Quilt Shop in Caledonia, known as "My Sewing Room".
